[trafficsafety] this Thursday: traffic safety action on SE Stark by 26th

Happening tomorrow (sorry about the short notice): a traffic safety
action at the intersection where cyclist Nick Bucher was killed by a
speeding motorist. My awesome friend Jacque decided that the killing of
this cyclist should not go without a response, and hopes for actions
such as this to be a regularly-scheduled monthly occurrence.

This Thursday, Feb.15th 4:30-7:00, come demonstrate your love for your bike
and your fellow cyclists / pedestrians!

We will be gathering at 26th and Stark Street, where Nick Bucher lost
his life to
a speeding motorist.

Make a face to face statement to motorists about traffic safety. We'll
have cyclists
gather on all sides of the intersection with signs asking drivers to
slow down and take
care to drive safely through our neighborhoods.

- Make a sign- and some to share if you can.
- There will be signs available.
- The media will be invited.
- We’re starting early so that you’ll have time to scoot off to free
geek’s movie night,
or the nopo greenway meeting afterward.
