[trafficsafety] Safety Dance

Hey folks;
There's a new traffic safety group in Southeast. I caught up with Joe,
Ryan, and AmyEllen a couple of days ago while they were hanging out on
SE 41st Ave with orange shirts and signs to educate drivers that the
speed limit there is 25 mph and not 35. It was amazing to see drivers
slow down to 20 or even 15mph. Having people in close proximity
drastically lowers traffic speed. I want to keep these folks in the
loop on traffic safety efforts.

[trafficsafety] No Helmet, No Consent

The decision to wear a helmet is a personal choice. I wear one because of my personal experience working with traumatic brain injury survivors.

The Portland Tribune article, "Some studies bypass consent" should be
another consideration for those choosing not to wear a helmet.
